I have been going to James Campbell high for about 3 years now. This is only a part of our enormous campus that has about 30000 teens attending. I chose this as my image of the school because it shows our schools agriculture classes garden, In this area they are growing Taro, squash, papaya, mango, butter lettuce, and many other things. But they are not known for what they grow but for how they grow things. In the aisles along the taro there are tubes that water the plants manually instead of watering it yourself. The butter lettuce is grown through hydroponics and that is a system where your plants don't need to be in dirt and a specially made cube. It's also only in water. Two other things is aquaponics which is plants that don't need to be watered and all the nutrients through fish poop and ammonia. The last thing is bokashi which is just fertilizer but they make it themselves. The angle that this picture is in is extreme wide, you can tell this is a wide angle because it helps show the environment of my school and the time you can see that my school look hot and dry and you can tell it is day time.
This image is of my school but the main thing you can see lined up is the portables. I took this image this way because I love how on mostly each portable there is a painting that you can see and its very different than the plain three story building in the back and the green grass and trees. The angle that I took this at is a wide Angle, you can tell this is a wide angle because it establishes the subject in relationship with each other but it can also hide things. For this instance it can be the trees, grass, and building as the environments the painting as the main subject.
This is my second favorite photo because it is of a portable at my school and when you look at the corner to you right side you can see a little love bird, it's a nest there were 3 birds sticking their head out at that time but when I took that picture two of them hid in their home. In this photo I have chosen a medium shot you can see the main element is the bird and the color change in the wall with the light brown and black gives very nice emphasis to the bird to help make it stand out more.
This is my I want to make better picture. I want to make this picture better because I wanted to get a good up close picture of a bird and even though I did I wanted to get one that when you look at my picture you can see and notice the bird. If you look closely at the picture you can see one bird with a red mark on his eye and one bird under that bird looking for what I suppose would be there lunch. Even though I know I can do better with this picture I love how the branches give the birds good hiding or camouflage for these birds and the tan colors of the branches and the green with the tan birds is so amazing to me. This angle I have taken for this picture is close up it is close up because
This is a pink Hibiscus, there were no yellow Hibiscuses. That is Hawaii's state flower, I chose to take this as my extreme close up photo because I love flower they are beautiful additions to nature and they are an amazing site to look at. This is an extreme close up and you can tell this is an extreme close up photo because I am showing one detail which is the center of the flower and you can also only see that, that is my main focus even the pollen pods are blurred out.
